Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I am very proud to be who i am and get to do the things we as firefighters and first responders get to do!!! I love to help people in a time of need. And to serve my community to help others!

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Lack of funding... With all the new standards the equipment cost are sky rocketing and fuel cost have gone crazy our county thinks that the funding that we have had for the last 5 yrs will keep working.... Go figure its there houses that we protect....

ETHANOL

We are getting an ethanol plant here in Mitchell County Georgia. What kinda training can we look forward to getting. Has anyone had any problems with there plants in there area... We have very limited resources here and we only cary 5 gal afff foam and 5 gal FIREAID on the trucks and I don't think thats going to cut it.
