Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Got involved in high school as part of Scouting, and to help keep me out of trouble. Became a regular Volunteer provider while a senior in high school and just kept with it once I graduated from college.
Why I Love Fire/EMS

Not a terribly good evening

In the world of fire/rescue, you have victims and you have people. They are not supposed to be the same. People are the ones you hang out with, get drunk with, work with, and even argue with. Victims are why you are here to do what you do; to answer the call for help, and hopefully provide a positive outcome. (Though not always the case).

We had a car wreck last week we had to go to. it was an 2004 mustang, it flated the roof to the door handels, we had to set up LZ for two victems and the other one we had to call the corner. 22 year old boy died.
