Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I was looking for a job that did not fit the nine to five. I started out in computors back in the day and when I went to work in the corporate field I hated it. I went to work a Police Department and started as a Community Service Officer. My Sgt. and Lt. said that if they had to do it again they would be firefighters. I took them at their word and never looked back. I have never held a job where I never did not want to go into work.
