Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Finally living my childhood dream....I have so much respect for fireman..I have always wanted to do this and I felt it was time..I am enjoying myself so much..Thanks to all the Guys at station 45 for helping me learn.
I had a few heroes growing up and they all seem to be Fireman and policeman.. A family friend Joe Kelly gave me his badge at age 5 and I was hooked and destined to be doing this.. I finally got tired of saying I wish and I now say I am.. And I love it..
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love helping my community, I always wanted to be a fireman since I was 5 years old. I used to go to all the Fire stations looking to see if they had a pole. They are my Heroes.

This Fire Fighter wasnt very big in stature, but took the words Courage and Bravery to a whole new level. Today Kyle kissed the face of God when he passed away. He is now an Angel, who will be remembered for not how he passed away, but how he lived. I know the special Fire Fighter section of…

Tonight we had an incident at a local recreation league. I knew immediately that we had a situation on our hands. The child never got up from the fall..

I stabilized the neck and tried to keep his as still as possible. He had minor blood loss from the back of the head. As I was holding his head, I also put light compress on the head to control… Continue

Looks to me like you figured it out! Not bad for an old guy! If you don't like it there, try putting it at the end of the very last question in your questionairre thing there..

Thanks Pat! The new house is great. Almost hard to believe we've been here almost 2 years! How is the pipe band? I miss playing, but just don't have the time to commit to practicing right now. I do get out my practice chanters every now and again.
