Batt. Chief Ellis,

I am trying to get in touch with you regarding possible ride alongs with you and your dept.  I have graduated from RCA at UFRA and am currently in the Paramedic program at UVU.  Many of my instructors have mentioned your name with great respect.  I hope to be able to meet you.  Thanks! Kate

Utah is my favorite place to ski. I just created a new group here on FFN, SnowSkiingFirefighters and thought you might be interested in joining. Would love to have you.

My name is Adel and I am trying to figure out what products are best for female firefighters. I have worked as a firefighter for only three years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern algerinne University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for three years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your opinions with me. Thank you very much. Please feel free to e-mail me back at adel_pomper@hotmail.com or leave me a comment

Hi Martha,
I don't know any of the HRT guys unless I've met some at national conferences. I've had plans to go there twice for skiing trips but both trips fell through. I was writing you at work and got a call, so I got caught short and had to send it. Anyway, any chance to get some pictures emailled of your Rescue. Also, any chance with compartments open or any special tools layed out. The big shiny thing is neat and necessary, but it is what's inside (including the folks) that makes it special. Anyway, nothing that takes time and don't do anything special just for me. Any good photos and tools or live action is great. Thanks and pleased to meet you. Dale

Hi Martha, Does Jeff Riley still work for SLC or did he move to Boise? I'm an old friend who visited your department, teaching Hazmat & UFC Article 80 back in the 1980's. TCSS, Mike Schlags, Fire Captain, Santa Barbara, CA

Martha, welcome to the FF Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
