I joined originally as a volunteer, to serve the community I live in and grew up in.

At our department we are multi function, so I get the best of both worlds.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
We need access to the latest technology. I think all departments are having the same problems with understaffing, underpaid, over worked personell

So as you look at the firefighter with his rake, hose or axe,

His beet red face or ice covered mustache,

You should know why he goes through that smokey front door,

And is forced to crawl like a baby down on the floor.

He does it to save both lives and property,

All that is precious to you and to me.

So take a good look at this modern warrior who serves his call proud and true,

Hey the other day I said it was quit I spoke to soon between 4/1/08 and4/2/08 we have had three structure fires we had one this morning
it was a apartment complex it was through the roof on arrival 8 familys
where left out in the cold.
