Im now 37 going on 38 who was a former explorer in Goffstown, NH fire when i was 16, then became a volunteer firefighter/emt-b from 95-00 and then volunteered for Peterville/Underwood, AL for about a yr as well asa 911 telecommunicator for 6 yrs from 95-00 and agin from 03-06

None currently, awaiting spot in the city to open in Lake Havasu City, AZ

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Just something i grew into loving as growing up had the fascination to sit in front of fire houses waiting for them to respond on calls, talking with local firefighters and becoming friends with most if not all of them and still love the job just miss it as i havent done it in say 5yrs or so.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Friends and the thought of doing things that most wouldnt even though at times its a thankless job even as volunteers
Top Issues Facing Responders:
None other than an unfortunate lay off of some friends in my hometown and state as well, people dont realize how important it is to be covered fully by fellow brothers and sisters who take pride in serving their community. I know i enjoyed serving mine, i loved it and would do it until the day i die, guess its in my blood
