I wanted to help people and we didn't have enough people in our fire dept.

I feel that since all we are is a volunateer dept. that it takes away our pay, when we have to leave our jobs for a fire. I don't mind it thou, because i like to help people in need. My boss understandes becasue he says that it could be his house I have to save one day.
