Why I Joined Fire/EMS

In High School I was responsible for starting a Fire Brigade for anyone interested. This opened many doors for myself and others. There is something about saving a life that until you do, you just wait till the possible day one day. I love people and love to help anyone in need. Every aspect of the Fire and Rescue service is rewarding ! These are my brothers and sisters...............

Why I Love Fire/EMS

God Allows me to do it ......can't imagine anything else....

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Take care of yourself so you can take care of the ones who are listening to you responding to the scene. A healthy body is the greatest tool ! Volunteer Departments need a physical each year and need to be on a strengh and endurance program EVERY day . Look at the stroke and heart attack rate in our line of work............Get Busy !!!!
