About Me:
I joined the Newton Abbott Fire Company Explorer Post in 1986. In 1988 I was accepted into the company as an active member. I served as EMS Lieut., Fire Lieut., Fire Captain and second Asst. Chief. In December of 1992 I resigned from Newton Abbott and Joined Woodlawn Fire Company in February 1993. During my time in Woodlawn I served as EMS Lieut., EMS Capt., Fire Lieut., Fire Capt., Asst. Chief for several years and finally Chief in 2007. I served on several committees including the purchase of a 1998 - 102' LTI Ladder Tower, 2006 ALF Pumper and a 2007 ALF Rescue-Pumper. After 15 years of dedicated service to Woodlawn I received my life membership and went inactive. You could say I took my ball and went home! In April 2008 I returned home to Newton Abbott. It's good to be home!!!!
As for my home life, I found time to get married in 1991 to Maureen and have 4 children who are very active in sports. I am employed at Saia Communications as a technician servicing and installing motorola 2 way radio equipment and emergency warning equipment into all types of emergency services vehicles from all levels of government along with the private sector.
