I hear you there. We had a very time for about three weeks about a month ago we had a real bad ice storm.Power was out everywhere fallen powerlines and fires all over the place from St.Louis Missouri to Kansas City Missouri it was bad for the Dept we worked our regular jobs during the day and running calls in the afternoon and at night .It was very tiring
    Have a good one

Anyone else find it ironic that when you go to the ER at hospitals, they send you to your primary care to follow up and as soon as you go in to see the doc, he sends you to the ER to get treated and then they send you back to doc for follow up, then etc.

Hi Daniel sorry only close Victoria is the state were I live not the town. Iwas a bit unsure of this site so desided to take it slowly maybe my kids would be more cumfortable at this level. I will get up to speed soon enough. I live in the N/E of victoria check out a map and you will see. Daniel,
The truck belongs to Darien Hager from Trinty FD here in Statesville.
  • Barnard

Hi daniel whats happening in Victoria are you far from the current fires and are you sending any crews over.
  • Barnard

Hi Dan I live in a small town of aprox 3500 people plus and surrounding districs of course much like your self by the sounds of it. We get around 50 to 60 calls a year including all the usual false alarms, small incerdents etc. Yes it's been a bit quite for us at the momment to ( touch wood ) which is fine by me. It's winter here so our rural or wild fire risk is about nil altough we still very active with FEM and weekly training community project's etc. We have about 50 members but some of of our guy's prefer to do just the summer thing rather than all year round so at the momment we have around 2 dozen turning up to skills maintance training ho and there's always a couple of new recruits in the pipe line.
    Cheers .

  • Joey "BigShow" De Piano

Hey Dano how are you whats new hows the wing? lol
  • Joey "BigShow" De Piano

Hey Dano things are dead quiet here last week or so kinda scary dead ..but it is a good thing in disguise for now anyway , sorry to hear you might lose some range of motion but do not take that as gosspel when my knee was done they told me the same and the loss of range was mostly scar tissue which can be broken up also invest in some glucosamine great after an injury like that keeps future tears from taking place and the all annoying pop you will develope
  • Joey "BigShow" De Piano

You can go to any GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Rite Aid and get it in tablet form I am sure if you research online you will find lotion and oral liquid version or even a tincture for tea.
  • Jacquelyn

I'm doin great. Finally got my knee fixed last month, been back to work at the bar and back to full duty since the 1st. It's been nice, since I came back I've been a bit of a black cloud :D We've had a few structures, one was yesterday morning, fully involved with the first on scene, but we saved a wall!!! It was a good day lol. How have you been? Anything new and exciting??
