Anyone else find it ironic that when you go to the ER at hospitals, they send you to your primary care to follow up and as soon as you go in to see the doc, he sends you to the ER to get treated and then they send you back to doc for follow up, then etc.
no problem... and its the most awesome job ever even if it is volunteer... and thats nice to hear.. tell him that i said hello and that he is goin to love it!!
Good luck with the paid dept id rather stay as a volly...... Id rather do the job and not get paid for it lol......but thats just me....I wanted to go FDNY thats stil a dream of mine but doubt its going to be persude......
Daniel, I don't live in Lafayette County anymore. But I know a ton of firefighters who do--although it doesn't appear any of them are members of this board. Nice to meet you (sorta).

Hi Daniel sorry only close Victoria is the state were I live not the town. Iwas a bit unsure of this site so desided to take it slowly maybe my kids would be more cumfortable at this level. I will get up to speed soon enough. I live in the N/E of victoria check out a map and you will see. May be down the track I will give a grid ref good practice although could be tuff on a international level. Thanks for you contact have you been a member of this site for long and has it all been good it seems to have a lot going on
see ya
hey no problem. and yeah im in a volunteer dept. w/my dad. it really is a great experience and i enjoy the feeling of doing good and of course the adrenaline (cant spell). but maybe i'll talk to again sometime.
Hi Dan I live in a small town of aprox 3500 people plus and surrounding districs of course much like your self by the sounds of it. We get around 50 to 60 calls a year including all the usual false alarms, small incerdents etc. Yes it's been a bit quite for us at the momment to ( touch wood ) which is fine by me. It's winter here so our rural or wild fire risk is about nil altough we still very active with FEM and weekly training community project's etc. We have about 50 members but some of of our guy's prefer to do just the summer thing rather than all year round so at the momment we have around 2 dozen turning up to skills maintance training ho and there's always a couple of new recruits in the pipe line.
Cheers .

I work in physicl therapy inpatient at the hospital so i know how it is...... Hope you getter and let me know about your progess... Stay safe out there
Hey Dan glad you are progressing that is good...Keep doing the exercises they give you at home to keep yourself going and get the range of motion back faster.... It was great hearing from you and that you are doing well.....Hope to talk to u soon....

Thank you of course I'm bias but I think he is a pretty cute dog too! And you're right beagles are interesting they just have so much life and personality! Thanks for stoppin by keep in touch and stay safe!
Hey Dano things are dead quiet here last week or so kinda scary dead ..but it is a good thing in disguise for now anyway , sorry to hear you might lose some range of motion but do not take that as gosspel when my knee was done they told me the same and the loss of range was mostly scar tissue which can be broken up also invest in some glucosamine great after an injury like that keeps future tears from taking place and the all annoying pop you will develope
You can go to any GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Rite Aid and get it in tablet form I am sure if you research online you will find lotion and oral liquid version or even a tincture for tea.
I'm doin great. Finally got my knee fixed last month, been back to work at the bar and back to full duty since the 1st. It's been nice, since I came back I've been a bit of a black cloud :D We've had a few structures, one was yesterday morning, fully involved with the first on scene, but we saved a wall!!! It was a good day lol. How have you been? Anything new and exciting??
