i was an explorer for 4 years then once i turned 18 i joined the department where i currently serve. i serve there with my dad and my boyfriend is chief of the explorers now. i am planning to attend community college to become an emt/paramedic. if you have any other questions just ask.

my dad had joined our local volunteer fire dept. and we found out about the explorers. so i joined not knowing what it would be like, and well i love it. the adrenaline is one thing but just helping serve your community is even better.

These entry level positions require no previous experience. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. A GED is acceptable.
