$2.90... wow! That's 73 cents a litre, we haven't seen that in a very long time. The lowest it's been in a while was 90 cents (3.60/gallon). Ach, I guess I can't complain too much, we do have Healthcare... errr Sickcare... lol! :)

Thanks for your input, I do understand what your saying. Up here its tuff, they dont offer much, you just get trained from your dept most of the time, like my chief wants me to test out of Firefighter 1.. As for choices, i wasnt making them then just making sure he didnt hit the drop take. cause it wasnt ours. I know i have alot more to learn. But they also have to let me do what i do know. And for the most part guys who are in there 40s work with me better then someone a few years older. idk. but thanks for the input it makes alittle more sence to me when someone points it out from the other side.

I was just reading your blog about people not knowing about plug uglies, Kelly, etc, and I thought that was awesome! I knew what all of that meant and love the history of the fire service too. I used to have a coworker who I would trade history quizzes with. He would call my station, ask a question and hang up, then I'd call him answer and give him a new one.

lol, yeah I work there too, but thats not the Department that I am having the problem with. If you know where Richmond Hill is then you know what city borders Ft. Stewart. Not going to mention its name. Yeah RH is a speed trap. Needless to say that the PD gets a lot more money than the FD there. So were you stationed near hear or something?

I havent seen him in some time. He was my neighbor growing up as a kid. More like family back then. He ended up moving out to Long Co. or Effingham....something like that. Yeah I know a couple of people there, Opey, Rodney Todd. Do you know James Ashdown? He is still with Ft. Stewart, he actually became the Liberty Co. Fire Cordinator. I deal with him ever once in a while. Anyways, I am actually looking at trying to get on Stewart/HAAF Fire. I used to know Deputy Chief Lea Hayes but she is gone now. Its hard to beat that CPOL Resumix first part. I have tried twice already.
