Web Chief: I wanted to post on your website for any firefighters in the NYC area who would like to see Denis Leary on CBS’s “The Early Show.” He will appear outside this Friday, December 7th. We are trying to get in contact with as many fire fighters as possible to be in our outdoor audience, preferably in fire fighter gear. If you could forward this to anyone who might be interested, we would really appreciate it. You will have a chance to see Mr. Leary and our anchors, be on live TV, and enjoy complementary breakfast food. We are located at the GM building on 59th and 5th. Please arrive around 7:30am. For more information, you can call Steve Cohen at 212-975-4061.

    Hey Merry Christmas
  • Joe Brooks

    Chief,

Great group of people we've got here. I'm wondering if we could get FFN to team up on some charity. No, I don't have one in mind. I just think that with all these people dedicated to doing what's right, let's try using the group to extend a hand. Tuition help to the college age kid of a fallen firefighter? A leg up to some poor kids who might be interested in a career in firefighting/EMS? Just an idea, to get something cool done for someone, AND get you (us) a ton of press.

    Best,

    Joe
