It's true, though. There are things that we could not do that someone else can do without even thinking. You gave your neighbor the best answer to that. Believe me, I think it did help him.     thanks brother, yeah we havnt made them into patches yet..just screen print them on shirts, once we get our embroidery machines going in our store..im going to make some patches...then maybe we can trade dept patches if u like...i done some other patches for our other company and chiefs..i will post them here soon and you can check them out as well....take care

    I lived in Corpus Christi, in Flour Bluff. I was trying to apply for the base firefighting. But never got it. Figured I go where I got hired, which turned out to be in McAllen. My dad actually works on base for DLA.

    Do you mean running with the Corpus Fire Department on Waldron or the Volunteer Department on Flour Bluff Drive? Big difference. McAllen is great. It's like I tell everybody, I like it better than Corpus because Corpus is a tourist town and the City People see it as only that, not a true place to live. Well that's what I think. Here the City is clean, good place to raise a family. And when I mean clean, no strip clubs inside city limits. It took HOOTERS 2 years to convince the city commission that it wasn't a sex oriented business. LOL

    Busy ass weekend so far! Two fires at the university, one in a building under construction, just contents of room & the other was the concession stand at the stadium, was fully involved when we got there. Waiting to see what tonight brings. Gonna hit the sack for some shut-eye soon, only got about 8 hours sleep in the last 48 hours. Fun! Fun! Fun! Hope yours is a quiet one. Later!

    That's awful about your air being out!!! It's been kinda muggy here in Bama, too. We are supposed to get some rain tonight :) I love a good thunderstorm. Don't tell anyone, but I wanted to MARRY Johnny Gage!!! Needless to say, I did not :( lol..A friend of mine who runs an Explorer program at his FD Makes them watch EMERGENCY for educational purposes. I love working shifts with him because we start at the beginning and watch them all ( at least as far as we can get)..I still remember so many episodes from my childhood. I started watching when I was 3 years old. Take care and stay safe! Glad to have you as a friend.

    some times i wonder how i get paid having so much fun and entertainment provided for me at work for free LOL. I like to stir the pot at work sometimes. but ya gotta love it when someone sticks their foot in there mouth and then either lie or stick the other foot in because they dont think before they speak. I know i have done it and i know everyone will do it sometime or another. ya just gotta laugh it off. I always say i go to work for the entertainment.
