About Me:
Grew up around the fire dept. Its all I've ever wanted to do. I decided to become a well rounded firefighter and enjoy all aspects of the service. After growing up in a volunteer dept I started fighting wildland fires across the United States. I spent nearly 3 years out west and in the southeastern and southern U.S. fighting some of the craziest fires ever. Fighting wildland fires allowed me to attain an Associates Degree in Business while not on the road. In 2002 i decided to come off the road and the government seemed to be the place for me. I've enjoyed working at NAS Penscola for the last 5 years where i've learned a whole new aspect of firefighting.........aircraft. This is especially interesting to me due to the fact that i never was in the military, so this has allowed me to be around some of the most awsome machines God ever allowed man to invent. At the moment i'm currently assigned to a 2005 model Pierce Arrow 65' Aerial at staion 5.....and that my friends is where it all happens. God Bless all firefighters (paid and volunteer) you do your communities an unbelievable duty. Keep up the good work.
