The helmet fronts we ordered are here. If you have not picked it up you will find it in your Fire Department mailbox. We will not use our new helmets until the rest of our gear is received. No other stickers will be put on our helmets.

Caroline will be drawing blood and giving vaccines (Tdap, Zoster, Hep A, Hep B) on Wed. May 2, 2012 from 7am-10am in the Conference room B of the Municipal Offices. There will need to be fasting 8-10 hours before the blood work is drawn. Just water or black coffee. All Members need to have this done at this time.

Anita, Jeff will be working Thursday night. He will have his truck there at the FD. If you have people to help with the loading and unloading I will be glad to drive his truck to help out. Just text me if you would like the help with a truck.  Dawn

Hey guys we had a call from a lady who does charity work for homeless, fire victims, etc. who needs help moving a load of mattresses from a local hotel to a storage facility near the firehouse. I told her we did not have a lot of members that had trucks that could help on short notice, but that I would post it on here. If you are interested in helping Thursday night let me know. I told her that I could not make any promises on such short notice. Thanks.

April Meeting will be Thursday the 5th. Aux 6pm Officers 7pm Regular Meeting at 7:30pm.

Dawn, pagers will be fine. It will give use five more channels like our Vol Tac. That will help. Also we have one truck at this time with a repeater on the fire channel. We can go there and make our hand radios  have 45 watts. This will help outside of town. Some members have had this for a while just to see how it would work and it has done great. So this way we will be getting all that we can from our hand radios.
