This is the link where I posted the research request.

Can you fill the survey, and let your friends fill it, too?

Kindest regards;

I actually found the patch on ebay in 2002. I bought 9, 3 for each of us that went. Every once in a while, I see one on ebay. Of the 3 I have, 1 is on a job shirt, one on a jumpsuit and 1 to keep.

I'm surprised there aren't more in here.
Well here's my story.
I was there with the Coast Guard Atlantic Strike Team. Spent the first several days helping shut down the harbor, ferrying firefighters / supplies from the other other boroughs and NJ into and out of Manhattan. Then spent several months over at the Fresh Kills Landfill on Staten Island doing the air monitoring, decontamination contractor oversite, and helping with evidence collection. After about the first 4 days of living on a 32' boat, I stayed at FDNY Eng 166/Ladder 86 for a couple days, and finally pretty much "moved in" at the Staten Island Hotel.

Welcome to the group! I am one of hundreds of EMS providers that answered the call. I was assigned to the inersection of Cedar and Trinity, the South-East corner of Ground Zero. I was stationed there under the supervision of "Pete" a lieutenant for FDNY EMS, along with volunteers from North Collins Emergency Squad and other FDNY EMS personnel.

In the above photo is Mike Hastreiter, Lisa Szefler and Myself with the remains of WTC 4, 5, or 6 behind us. We are standing on the steps to what was a park between Broadway and Church a Cedar and Liberty. Photo taken by Phil Trembley of the North Collins Emergency Squad.
