Hi everyone,
I’m a volunteer firefighter with the Country Fire Authority in Victoria, Australia. My brigade attends bushfire (wildfire) as well structure, Hazmat, MVA’s and other incidents.
Currently I’m in the Women and Fire Mentoring Program - http://www.cfaconnect.net.au/news/women-and-fire.html - if your fire dept runs something similar I’d love to hear about it.
Cheers,
AA

Hey everyone... nice to meet you... Just dropping in to introduce myself and see if have any thing I can learn or share. Great to see the women are making such a strong shift in the history of the FD - soon we will not be the minority ;-) maybe

I just became a member of the fire fighter nation. I have been a volunteer fire fighter for almost three years. I started off as a junior, and moved up on my last birthday. Im hoping to meet other women like myself because there are no women in our departments that actually fight fires. Thank you.
