Training With CAFS.

In Berks County PA we have a fairly new burn building at our county training center. Overall it is a good facility. We can train on any thing at the facility with the exception of CAFS which is what we utilize to fight fire. While structural burns at the facility are top notch and they allow my guys to get the idea it is different when using CAFS compared to straight water.
I am a firm believer that you play like you practice and unfortunately we don't get to train as often with our own methods as much as I think we should. What I am looking for is some advice or ideas on how to remedy this training deficiency. Does anyone know of any training facilities that allow the use of CAFS in their burn building in the southeastern PA area?

What is the reason that you cannot use CAFs?

I'm still fairly new to the fire service and was hoping thet you could please explain the CAFS to me.

Areyou using a Cafs pumper/engine or are you using a Cafs skid unit? In my dept we use 6 different cafs unit 4 american fire and 2 Row industries skid units. Mostly used for brush fires, but on the up side we use ours on just about anything. Normally the unit uses class a foam but we have retrofitted them to use class b 1/3 for any petro fires. The 2 Row units have a 100 gmp pump on them and have been used on entry into a structure fire with very affective results. And structure protection durring a fast moving wild fire. With being a cafs unit on brush fires your water basically expands 10-1 with your water flow, short terms it stretches your water to last longer.
