My company has been tasked to create a department training on the disoriented firefighter. We plan to do a powerpoint and a practical skills exercise. What do you do? A secondary requirement of this training is educating our members on what to do if a floor collapses and you drop down into a basement. Any ideas or thoughts are welcome. Thanks. Dave

Dave:

Check out Project Impact on my website at www.TES2training.com (See handouts page). The top three downloads are related to Project Impact. You can download and modify as needed our standardized actions for a lost or disoriented firefighter - see standardized actions PPT (on the handouts page). Lastly, checkout the article titled Project Impact - posted at the bottom of the page.

Hope this helps.

Take care and stay safe.
