Traditional Helmets vs. the others
The fire service is steeped with traditions one of which is the leather traditional helmet. Does anyone know how hard it is to get a fire department to switch over to traditional helmets? I know that those other helmets are cheaper but the traditionals are so much better. what do you think?

I have a leather Traditional that I keep in my office as a keepsake. We wear the composite traditional style. The leather one is way to heavy to wear every day. Looks great though. Yeah about 500 - 600 a piece versus 180 for the composite. Hummmmm? lets see run those numbers......
