I don't know if any members of the group were involved in the search for the missing autistic student in WV over the last few days. News reports indicate the hundreds of searchers were involved. The missing student was found, safe, when a searcher "stumbled" into him. I think news reports of "stumbled" are misleading, as the searcher was in an area that dog teams had previously alerted in.

I was not there, so of course I do not know the details of the search, command structure, exactly how well things went (or didn't), etc. Suffice it to say that the missing person was found, and reunited with his very grateful family.

Good jobs to all the organizations and agencies that participated. More important, a hearty thank you to all the searchers who donated their time (missing both work and wages) to assist in this search. Your subject was found, alive. You can all go home to your families and be extremely proud!
