For many families living in rural areas,gas holder is a necessity.A gas holder,aka gas cylinder,is made of special steel,very easy to use and widely used in the kitchen.However,a gas holder is very easy to be on fire due to low quality or misoperation.Many firemen who were responsible to gas holder fire liked to move the burning cylinders with their own hands and thought that was brave before the camera.However,a normal gas holder has a yield of 100 grenades,if a gas holder blasts off,people in 100 square M's range could be hurt or killed.10 years ago,FDBJ(Firedept of BeiJing city) had a test.Firemen set fire to 50 gas holders on a playground,some were lying while some stood,and firemen kept watching those burning gas holders by telescopes.serveral hours later,the fire holders lying on the ground blasted off and those fire holders standing on the ground kept burning and consumed to the end,no one exploded.One spokesman of FDBJ said that it was safe to carry a burning gas holder with hands as long as the gas holder wasn't lying on the ground.But some safety officers like me still worry about that way and think it not really safe all the time.Carrying the burning gas holder out and put it on an open area to wait it consumes or let it burn in the kitchen,which will you prefer?I am looking forward to your opinions.
