My first fatality was on a lake. Two men had been fishing and drinking on a windy cold day. The boat capsized and the two men either didn't have the knowledge or the mindset to flip the boat over. They passed. It was a recovery not a rescue for us.

let me tell youit is not easy. About two weeks after I got on I caught a 3 alarm at 2;30 in the morning and I was on rescue that day. When we got to the main 3 family home that was ripping we found a mom, dad and a 1yr old baby all dead. I was nervous and kinda felt guilty because we could not get in there due to the heavy fire. I had to talk it out at the debrieifng and let it out. I have come to terms that this is just the begining unfortunately. Thanks for sharing. be safe
