OURS USALLY HANDS OUT EVERY YEAR ALSO

we also did the same thing for the children on Halloween. All 3 of weathersfields stations patrolled the streets. This is my first yr with weathersfield and I was glad to b apart of the Halloween event. We have done alot of pr work with the search and rescue dogs but, I was glad that I got to do a good deed as a firefighter.

Our Dept. in Washington Twp, Montgomery county sent all of apparatus out with candy, we drove around the Township passing it out, like you said it is very rewarding.

Our department is on a State Highway so we take our apparatus and light up the night on each end of two towns in an effort to slow motorists down. We also hand out candy.

We do a haunted trail in the woods every year and pass out candy at the end of the trail.
