Well, I'm not an active firefighter anymore but I wore the leather and still love them. I do have to say though that after looking at the newer versions, the skull bucket is way too big to accommodate all that extra stuff in there. Just makes 'em look top heavy to me. Prices have gone past the galactic border too. When I bought my first New Yorker in 1977 it cost me $78.00 and that with the front included.
Anyway, glad to see the "leatherheads" are alive and well in my new home state. I'm in Lincoln County btw.

it was 546 all together tax and everything, at the firestore its almost 650 with tax and shipping but the only problem is if you want a large black sam houston they sell out quick but they have enough of everything else...i just got the natural cause i didnt want to wait and it looks amazing...but im getting ready to paint it cause chief wont let me keep it the way it is
