She:kon, Hi all... Kahnawake Mohawk (not enrolled), born in & living in the US on the wrong coast! EMT-B, still on probation, and started FF1 training. I have a NAFFA patch but am interested in others & decals. Nia:wen

You know, Robbie Robertson is half Mohican and he has sure written and performed many moving and beautiful songs and albums. "Shine Your Light," for the movie, Ladder 49. I can't stop listening to them. I've seen many singer's/group's perform live over the years, but I haven't seen Robbie...yet. If I get the chance, I will be there!

Hello I am Navjo and live in Pennsylvania. I have been a FF for 24 yrs and I have loved it since day one. Though I live far away from New Mexico I try to keep up on events and pass on our heritage to my kids.

I would also like to join the Native American FF Group. I am also of Cherokee descent through my ggg-grandmother who was of English and Cherokee blood. I also do not have a Tribal membership; but have Native American friends up here in the Upper Mississippi Valley; which was originally the land of the Winnebago/Blackdeer; who are still here.

I would like to join the Native American Firefighters Association. Do I have to be an enrolled member of a tribe to join? I am of Cherokee descent, but do not have a tribal membership.
