I am an ex member of the Manhasset-Lakeville FD Company # 3 from 1979 to 1984 (go minute men) I started this site because I run into a lot of vamps from nassau and suffolk all the time (some people just wont take the malteese off the grille of the car or the blue lights when they get to florida). i want this to be a site where we can enjoy our status as Long Island's Bravest. i may be in florida but sometmes i do miss sitting on the LIE for hours thinking "the parkway's movin" as the 1800 radio checks starts.
