Thanks for the invitation. I have not been an EMT for some years now but still help out as best I can in the department when needed as we only have 3 EMT's and we are volunteers and have other jobs away from our home town. Many times we go on a medical aid call and don't have any information on the patient. This data base would be invaluable to us as first response personnel to try to handle the problems we are called to prior to the ALS unit arriving which could be some 20 or 30 minutes later. Hi everyone, unfortunately in Barbados the fire dept and the ems are two separate entities. We had discussions regarding merging the two departments but the unions did not support it.

This sounds like a great thing. I am in a small town area, money is really tight. So this would be funded by the public that wanted this srevice then?
