Dan, About an hour ago I was on the phone with Kim Jones. He is going to call you but he told me to not bring my guys down for this one that his people can handle it. We are still going down in December but for now we are out of this one. He will call you about the others but Tullytown is out of this time. I will stay in touch.

Hey Dan,
Right now I'm still evaluating whether or not to respond--financial concerns and a Sunday departure will conflict with a memorial service for a department member. Will keep you posted.

Dan,
It appears there is another Storm heading for the East coast and might have a direct impact on us in the Pa, MD, DEL area. Any word on how bad things are in Pearlington and any cocideration on not sending the whole crew away in case we are needed closer to home? We are not backing out we just want to be used where we are needed.

I am taking my own vehicle and I believe so are others, If anyone out there has received a monitary contribution I know I personally wont turn it away for gas. We dont get any Fire Department or municipality funding for these trips it is all out of hide as Dan has stated.

All day I have been glued to the TV. Between Fox, CNN and TWC do they know that there is so much more down there but the French Quarter of New Orleans. Thank god we take care of our own this is crazy. As I am typing they just said Waveland has taken 12 ft of storm surge.
