Welp, I just want to say that I had to start this groups being one of the only germans in my department who is tired of not having a fancy clover or italian flag on his helmet haha. I'd like this to be for the german community, but of course, my welcome is extended to ANYONE!

I was the first German my department has ever seen. After nine months another German/American FF/Paramedic popped up. Let me say something about the flag..the first flag I put on my helmet was the German flag. And the second was the American 911 Memorial flag but especially for the German-Americans who served in the FDNY and upheld the German tradition alive. And this is what we have to do as Germans is keep our German tradition alive throughout our Amerian communities.
