Conferences for gay and lesbian fire fighters and emts

Hello all from your group leader

i was wondering if anyone knows of any conferences for gay and lesbian firefighters and emts??? or does anyone have a clue as how to start one???/ i am interested in holding a conference for gay and lesbian fire fighters and emts etc. it would be pretty cool i think and maybe even throw in some law enforcement in there to . if anyone has any ideas lets start discussing them in here

Hey Nick:

For the LEO side, check with GOAL - Gay Officers Action League. I know the mid-Atlantic chapter here in the DC area does a week long conference during police week in May.

There is also a GLBT firefighter EMS group in NYC called Fire-FLAG (FireFighters Lesbian and Gay) and they might do something as well during the end of June coinciding with Gay Pride.

I have a bit of conference and meeting planning experience. I would love to work with you on something if you want to give it a go.
