What fire police training is made available by your state ?

Beyond the 16 hour Basic Fire Police, Pennsylvania also offers Advanced Fire Police, Highway Incident Safety, Emergency Response,
Crowd Control, Fire Police Communications, and Fire Police Legal Concepts ( all 16 hour courses ). The state also requires all fire personnel to hold annual certification in Hazmat R&I.
Our city's Fire Bureau has a basic requirement that all fire police have at least one operational state certification (Basic, Advanced, Highway Incident, or Emergency Response), R&I, First Aid and CPR before we are permitted to operate on the street.
