This is and has been a hit in my home and at the fire house for many years!
I hope you enjoy!!!
The perfect meal: Firehouse Meatloaf, Garlic Mashed potatoes,fresh greenbeans cooked with bacon and fresh baked buttermilk rolls and of course apple pie for desert!

1 egg, beaten
1 cup soft breadcrumbs
1/2 cup bottled pasta sauce(ragu)
1 or 2 garlic cloves, minced (I use 2 or 3)
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary (I use fresh caused I grow it!)
8 ounces Italian sausage (Regular or spicy)
1 pound of ground beef (sirloin or buffalo is best)
2 ounces provalone or mozzarella cheese, cubed
2 tablesoons of the bottled past sauce (I use 4 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons shredded prov or mozz cheese (I use more)
Fresh Rosemary sprigs (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, the 1/2 cup pasta sauce, garlic and rosemary.
3. Remove casing from sausage.
4. Add ground beef and sausage, mix well.
5. Press 2/3 of the meat and egg mixture evenly in the bottom of an 8x4x2-inch loaf pan.
6. Add cheese cubes.
7. Add the rest of the meat mixture and press over the cheese.
8. Top with sauce and grated cheese and top with small sprigs of rosemary if desired.
9. Bake for 55 minutes
