VOL. FIREMAN
AS THE PAGE GO'S OUT WE HURRY TO OUR FEET, NO MATTER WHAT TIME WE KNOW WHERE TO MEET......

WE GET ON THE TRUCKS AND TURN ON THE LIGHTS, AND AWAY WE GO INTO THE DARKENED NIGHTS.....

WE DONT ASK FOR MUCH AND DONT GET PAID A DIME, THE ONLY THING WE GAIN IS SAVING A LIFE....

AS WE ARRIVE ON SCENE WE ACT AS ONE, WE WORK TOGETHER TO GET THE JOB DONE....

WHEN THE FIRE IS OUT AND EVERYONES SAFE, ITS TIME TO GO HOME AND BLESS THIS DAY....

AS WE PULL INTO THE STATION AND TURN OFF THE LIGHTS, WE WAIT FOR THAT PAGE FOR ANOTHER NIGHT....

SOME PEOPLE QUESTION A VOL'S PLACE, BUT WITH THIS HERE POEM I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY....

THERE IS NONTHING LARGER THEN A VOL'S HEART, AND YOUR FAMILY MAY COME DRIVING THRU THIS HERE PART....

AND IF SO IN THERE TIME OF NEED, ANGELS ARE WITH US WERE VOL'S YOU SEE....

I like this one.... it truly brings back som memories of past calls.... and those who have tried to shut down Vol. Departments... it seems they are the ones we save.
Brandon thanks for the kind words brother, and your right it does strike a string in a vol. heart...Stay safe brother...
