I know what ya mean Joan. I would do safety oficer but thats about it as far as officer goes. Someone has to look out for those younguns all fired up and not rly thinkin whats just over their heads.

Thanks Justine for making this group. Us ladies gotta stick together cause sometimes issues come up that we need to talk about like sexual harassment and all. I've been harassed twice but don't want to get anyone in trouble so had to handle it myself. But would be nice to be able to vent on here. Thanks again.

Justine, you go girl!! Thats a great score. I passed with a 98 on both FF1 and 2. Had to show up all the guys ya know lol. I found that the HazMat portion was the worst of it.

Joan, I rly had to prove myself too because they made me the first female officer in their 35 yr. history and I had to make way or other women. Well after me 2 more women made it to lt. too so that's real cool.

My name is Carolyn Bullock but they call me Red at the station. I've been a firefighter for 11+yrs. I have FF1 and 2 and First Responder. I've been a Lt. for 5 yrs. and a Captain for 1 yr. Curently I am just a regular firefighter on 2 Depts. I choose not to be an officer because of the bs that goes along with it. I love my job and just want to enjoy myself on the scenes with my fellow brothers and sisters. I love the action not the paperwork. Im honored to be in this group. Would love to share stories and just have a good time. Will let ya know how the next call goes . Love ya all. Till the next one,,,,,,

I hope u ladies r having a good day. Well I'm 35 going back to school to become a FF.I'm almost done, anything is posiable. Being a woman I feel we have to try twice as harder than the men. It makes me feel more DRIVEN and DETERMAINED!!! My motto is NEVER WEAKEN!!!!
