April 13, 2008- We regret to advise you that the Fire Chief of Macon (MS) died yesterday from what appears to be a medical emergency (Saturday) while operating at a working structure fire. Chief Charlie Fraley, who has been the Macon Fire Chief for over 25 years complained of shortness of breath around six in the morning. The incident occurred shortly after he responded to the fire call.
