My friends next door . Bill and Randy Simmons. I saw an opertunity to help shape my life and help others in need. Down the road I saw the TV show Emergency. That pushed me ahead in firefighting and EMS. I know that may sound corny now but then it was a differnt ball game. To wish you had the skill and all the neat "toys". That was when we had a 1946 Pumper. 400' foot of 1 1/2, 50' of 2 1/2, 4 sets of turnout and 1 SCBA. We all had "Big Dreams".
I used to hang around the station while younger the stories and the things the vetern firefighters told inspired me and my dad is real active in it it always has put a smile on his face and i knew then the inspiration them guys at that firehouse gave me was something i wan;t to do and knew that them guys were were more then just any ole guys they were gentlemen who would do anything for anyone
