What type of vehicle does your department utilize for brush responses? They vary around our area. Our District usses a Hummer wich was manufactured by "Fire Attacker".

my truck also has 150' 1"1/2" hose reel, 200' 1" hose reel, 150' 1"1/2" flat hose, 100' 2"1/2" flat hose, 20' hard suction, 1" handline on rear, 1"1/2" handline on front, sweep nozzles in front bumper that are controled independtly from the cab, misc shovels & rakes, chainsaw, 20' ladder
My Department uses 1973 Jeep CJ, Has Hale pump & 110 gallon tank. Here in upstate NY we don't get many wildland fires. Mainly only small grass fires.
Ive noticed you have the nozzles on the front bumper do yours work good? We have some on our truck but the wind makes it almost useless other than it gives the truck a bath! LOL
ya im not sure what is wrong with it but it doesnt work. haha

Very nice looking truck!

They are truly the ultimate go anywhere vehicle. Since this picture this one has had a major transformation. It received a new stainless 150 gal tank CAFS, capable pump, new motor(chevy 350), new wheels and tires,and coming soon a hard top, paint job, and heater. Ill get some pics and add them shortly.
We have an 03 F-550 extended cab 4x4. We also use firefighters pov when we need to alot of places are to tight for the engine.

this is what we take out for a brush alarm: Brush 6, 2007 Chevy 3500 150/250; Engine 61, 1985 Kenworth/FMC, it carries two pumps, 1250 and 300, 1000 gal; Tanker 6, 1985 Ford 8000, 500/3000. all three are pump and roll pieces.

My dept. is yachats fire dist. and we use a 2004 ford f-550 two door and we use a DODGE RAM 2500 HEMI BABY!
