Why do People think FireFighters are Rednecks in the South

just wondering why because that stereotype thing got me wondering so anybody got any ideas i wont take offense to any of them there ansewers yall might give to me hahahaha jk lol

Well Don,

You will probably never "GET IT" using words like "bastardized". Look man, it's all about the context. If you call us rednecks cause of the way we talk, dress, or where we live, in a demeaning manner, that's offensive. If you say it in a prideful way,(like the monster firetruck) or if you get Jay's list above and laugh cause it's happened to you..........well then you will get it. I guess you have to have a fish fry to buy fuel for your deuce and a half that you built yourself, or rescue a cow in an abandoned well with a logging skidder,(my first rescue), or fight grass fires with toe-sacks and pine limbs to "GET IT".

Just my two cents, with that and $4.98 you can purchase a plate of fish at our department fish fry!
