There are at least two groups that were started for Oregon EMS and Southern Oregon Firefighters. Its there for us but hardly even used. Where are you? Who started the groups and where have you gone. Seems sad that the groups are there and hardly used at all. This web site is here for our input, involvement and participation. Come on Oregon members stop on by the groups and drop a line or two. Its there for you. Lets hear it..................

Ok, maybe your all busy. You can run but you can not hide
Can I be an honorary member? :)
Jay, Bro you can be the President apparently. I think they may have all died or just drifted away. LOL!
Am I the only one who noticed that the Southern Oregon Firefighters Group and the Oregon EMS and Firefighters Group havnt had any activity since like April? Whats up with us Oregon Firefighters and EMS? Oh! maybe we are just out enjoying the Summer. RIGHT RIGHT!
HELLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO????????????????????????????????????????
Would you consider CA as southern Oregon?
Apparently Jay! At one time there was a group that was attempting to establish a 51 state called State Of Jefferson. It was to take Northern California and Southern Oregon and unite them into one state. Never happened but the stimulus for that have never gone away.
So where are the Southern Oregon Firefighters hiding?
Well, I grew up in Oregon and fought wildland fires with a contract crew in Oregon for 2 summers... but the volunteer firefighting is something I've only done in Montana....
Cassie, well like others its seems that people have only worked here and moved on. Surely I am not the only Oregon firefighter around. Or I would presume that anyhow.
I doubt you are. The Montana Firefighters group I joined hasn't been active for who-knows-how-long either. And someday I might become truly an Oregon firefighter. I didn't find my love for fire until wildland firefighting for those two summers in Oregon... and since I go to school in MT, when I realized I missed fire.... that's where I picked up volunteer firefighting. After I graduate, if I end up back in Oregon, I'll look for a volunteer dept (or if I decide to switch to looking for a career fire job), I'll join one of your groups. ; )
Cassie, you could be the president of one of our groups. :) Good luck with your schooling.
