3 days - Capital city flooded
Personal longest was in the neighborhood of around 8 hours

Dept longest was a week. That was a large warehouse fire which contained large parent rolls of paper.
Little over 18 hous straight on a huge barn fire......then got called back the next day.......can't put the crap out....had 3 front end loaders helping too
or then again.....Ice Storm of 1998......10 days.....
the longest for me was at a warehouse fire in kenosha county 2 years ago thanksgiving eve we were there for 12 hours and the fire started in behind a stack of shipping boxes and the worst part of it was we were dealing with cold smoke and used air boats from ILLINOIS to help with removing the smoke. plus very cold temps and snowing
oh yea, as Paul pointed out - ice storms last for many days - my last answer was 3 days without getting home. Ice storms, I come and go from home still.
