i decided to get into firefighting after one of my dads best friends was killed in a fire. she was tied up and left to die. so ever since i was about 12 years old i knew what i was going to do when i grew up. i am now 21 and previously not on a fire department because i moved to a new town but i am looking to get on another one . i love my job driving an ambulance though, i love doing anything that i can to help people. it takes a special breed to do the things we do everyday. what made you decide to get into this type of field?
