What is the Oldest Fire Apparatus You Have In Service In Your Department?
In the department I belong, we have a 29 year old American LaFrance Ladder Truck. You would never know that by looking at it, and it is still in great machanical shape as well.

of hose on the reel. I have to say, I have never seen that before.
That sure bet's having to hand pack it back into the bed.

36 years of service, that great. Most trucks that age have already

Well I have one better guys.........Our newest year truck on our departmet is an 78 ford diesel tanker. again thats our newest one........... I tell ya what....It is 10X faster than rolling 50 ft of hose on the bed....I LOVE IT!!!! I actually just trained on using it yesterday..

78 International 1000/800 for about another 6-8 weeks. Once the Tower goes in service we will retire the '78.

we have a 1983 osh kosh P-19 crash truck, and it is in rough condition mechanically. it's on emergency use only.
