That raises another question - how many hands do you have?
Multi tool, combination spanner wrench, wire cutters, pliers, 50' nylon webbing, flash light, pair of extrication gloves and a picture of my daughters.
gloves, hood, wire cutters, door chocks, piece of webbing wrapped for a shoulder loop while handling a 2 1/2", and a hand light secured to my coat.
Med gloves extrication gloves Flashlight LED mult-tool 6 door wedge rescue tool spanner wench 3-20 foot webbing extra sock with a pair in my glove box in the unit...
Are you an interior firefighter in Australia? If so, then at the very least, I suggest you carry a pair of linesman pliers or cable cutters. Your life could depend on them someday, and they come in handy on a regular basis.
really?
I usually start by making sure the liner is in the gear immediately prior to inserting myself. Anything else is really just on down the list.
channel lock rescue 86, 50 ft rope, mammoth caribeaners, figure 8 decender, a benchmade auto stryker, and a leatherman core multi-tool
I can't believe no one said a NOMEX hood but I carry one
Nomex hood, knife, spanner wrenches, screw driver and flashlight.
Why can't you believe that?

Many firefighters that use flash hoods don't carry them in their turnout gear. Most of the firefighters in my fully-career department, for example, place them on their boots/pants hitch and don the hood before entering the rig. Others place the hood next to their riding position and don it during the rsponse.

Putting the hood in a pocket just wastes time getting to it for career firefighters.
well its a standard part of our gear, so i didnt include it
