In paid dept we respond to residential fire alarms with two engines and one ladder and a command vehicle. On commercial fires ,two engines and two ladders a command vehicle and chief's vehicle.

In volunteer dept we respond to residential fires with one engine, one tanker and one rescue with automatic aid.
We do not charge a line unless we see smoke or fire. SCBA'S are worn regardless!!

Crashes- Paid dept one engine and a command vehicle Vol dept on the interstate we respond with two engines and a rescue vehicle. We use the extra engine as a blocker. To many firefighters getting hit and we are not taking the chance. as far as a charge line, if we are extricating yes we pul two lines.
For just a fire alarm we roll just one eng. Mva eng. and rescue, 1st alarms dumps the station plus mutual aid, which is 4 or 5 towns plus a cover assignment
For a commerical fire alarm we respond with two engines, and two trucks with the shift commander. For a residential fire alarm we respond with two engines and one truck with the shift commander. We do not charge a hoseline unless it's a confirmed fire. we do a complete walk around and we have our scba's on but not breathing air unless it's a real fire.

On crashes we respond with one engine and the shift commander unless we have confirmed muti-vehicles with multi victiums then we request a second alarm which will bring in another engine or truck. We only charge a hoseline if there is a fuel leak or we have to use the Jaws. We do not operate a rescue.
fire = run everything we can
non-hydrant = 1. pumper tanker(6) 2. tanker(2) 3. engine(6) squad(7)
hydrant= engine(6) engine (6) squad (7)
SCBA are always on back.... not charge line unless fire/smoke showing
min staffing of 4 but sometimes that is overlooked

Crashes= Squaaaaaad 2
Squad 2 runs first
reported serious or w/ entrapment the rescue engine runs as well
Fire Alarm-1 Engine, unless in the city you get 2. No line pulled or charged unless smoke/fire, then you get a full structure response. SCBA, yes. You must be ready for the unknown. Our Engines can carry 6 ff's.

Crashes-1 Engine, and brush truck, we have extrication equipped Engines. If the crash involves entrapment we call for additional Engine and the Rescue. In the city you would get 2 Engines on a PI then the Rescue on the entrap.
We roll one chief and one engine on residential alarms. Everyone packs out, but rarely mask up. Only charge a line if something showing.

MVA's: We roll a chief, a rescue and an engine. The rescue provides extrication and first responder patient care (We don't run the box) and the engine blocks. We charge a line during extrication and if there's a known hazard. We keep water on scene until the wrecker is loaded.
Fire Alarm we bring a chief a pumper and a rescue...car crash we bring a chief a pumper and a rescue and depending on the situation we would charge a line. we can bring up to three chiefs on any call (thats all the cheifs we have). They determine what to bring or not bring.
