Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined the fire service late, for the amount of years that i have been around sense i was pretty much bor, i should have joined then hell i could be chief lol! the main reason i joined was to help others and put my efforts back into the community!
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I feel that the most biggest factor out there is money, and for the voulenteer dept. is finding the people that want to voulenteer.

Its been awhile just wanted to update alittle bit, i have moved up from LT. to captain i have been in that spot for a little while now, it kind of sucks that i cant go in anymore to get that satisfaction of getting close to the fire, but oh well... It will take a little bit to get used to not being able to go in, and the biggest thing is making the right decision! I know it will come with time but it's in the back of my mind...plus there are some questions that i have but i really dont have…

I am doing good. Just tired but that just comes with the job. Its hard for me right now cause I am doing so much right now. I work full time with an ambulance service and atleast 2 night I volunteer EMS. Plus, I have found my soulmate. He is a really great guy. I am just trying to make time for everything or everybody.

I am doing good. Kinda of bored cause I have been on call since last night and only had one fire call. Then I got awakening by my cell phone going off this morning. It was my chief telling me that we lost one of our rescue members last night. I think it was related to his heart.
