When I was in the military, I remember doing team exercises where a small group of soldiers was given a mission, and an assortment of odds and ends materials. An example would include logs, boards, rope etc. Does anyone have such a scenario for the Fire Service? If so, I would really like to see the plan and material list.

Thanks, Dale

This is only a sample of what's out there. Many would take very little to customize to suit the emergency services.

I have never thought about team building exercises like this before but what about disassembling a members gear, and have his crew members put it on him with blacked out masks. They will have to communicate and trust each other. This would also reinforce certain RIT characteristic. If you take the air bottle out of the pack, just make sure someone is checking to see that it gets threaded properly. Time would stop when the gear is on correctly and the downed member takes his first breath.
