I'm wondering if oyur department goes out and teaches the staff at child care centers fire safety. I ask because thats what I do for a living in Delaware. I'm expanding into PA and find that alot of centers have the fire company do it for free. I'm not complaining about that because there is enough business for me. I'm just wondering about the free part and what actually you teach the staff of you do.

We teach them the same that is taught to grade/primary schools. Organize everyone as quickly as possible, children that can walk, walk, daycare providers grab the rest, hold hands, evacuate in an orderly manner, have two escape routes planned in case your primary is blocked, and finally have a mustering point outside at a safe distance from the building where accountability can be taken.
